Wisconsin State Legislature
Some questions you will need to consider and address in your oral or
written presentations:
- How do you conduct a legislative meeting?
- How have other states tackled the gun control issue (particularly look
at the state of California)?
- Why is this such a hot topic now?
- What is the current national mood on the issue?
- What is the state of Wisconsin's mood on the issue?
- A Chairman of the Special Committee
- A Parliamentarian
- A fourth term senator whose major issue has always been the environment.
- A recently elected, young representative from Madison.
- An ultra-conservative senator up for reelection for a sixth term.
- A representative from the Rolias Lake district who is also a major
investor in the hunting lodge located there.
- A senator from extreme northern Wisconsin who is ambivalent on gun
control.
- A moderate representative from the Milwaukee area.
- Three or four representatives / senators with no real opinion on gun
control laws.
