The Final Product: Oral and Written Presentations

 Wisconsin State Legislature - Special Joint Committee on Firearms
 

The members of the special joint committee of the Wisconsin State Legislature, will issue their subpoenas to a variety of special interest groups to explain / defend their position on the question.

The members of the special committee will convene their hearings on the question of revising gun control legislation in the state.

This meeting will follow Robert's Rules of Order and correct Parliamentary Procedure.

All members of the committee will be expected to address appropriate questions to subpoenaed witnesses.

 When presentations are finished, the special joint committee members will meet to vote on their recommendation to the legislature as a whole.

 

Witnesses from Wisconsin Interest Groups

 

Witnesses will be called to present their points of view, biases, information, resources, and recommendations to the committee.

Witnesses will present additional visual or audio clips, materials or relevant information.

Witnesses will be expected to answer questions put to them by the members of the committee.

 

Final Product: All of you, except presenters, will submit a short paper containing a summation of the proceedings, your decision and the rationale for that decision.
